To take care of the Insurance needs of the direct client by providing and delivering professional, helpful and high-quality service. Specifically, the AutoSMART Business Unit.

  • Handle calls/queries from direct customers regarding underwriting matters
  • Follow-up direct renewals and policieswithin agreed time frame
  • Quote on all motor new business
  • Process all direct motor/property new business transactions in accordance with the established protocol
  • To prepare letter of outstanding documents/cancellation/rescinding/commissioner of police
  • To update policies for renewal on a monthly basis
  • To assist with the dispatching of certificates and endorsements to direct clients
  • Any other duties assigned
Qualification & Experience Required
  • First degree / Associate degree and/or Jamaica Insurance Diploma
  • FSC Registration
  • Minimum three (3) years' experience in the General Insurance Industry .
Specific Skills or Competences Required
  • Good inter-personal skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Strond problem solving and analytical skills
