Investment & Pension Advisor

FHC Investments Limited, an emerging boutique wealth management firm and subsidiary of First Heritage Co-operative Credit Union (FHCCU), is seeking a driven and highly motivated Investment and Pension Advisor. The ideal candidate is a fearless, results oriented individual who is seeking career advancement, has an entrepreneurial mindset and willing to write his/her own uncapped salary.

Core Functions:  

The Investment and Pension Advisor will be required to:

  • Increase the Company’s market share and visibility in the wealth management and Pensions Industry through external prospecting, selling and cross-selling the company’s products and services, strengthening the relationship between the company, its customers and prospects.  Service existing clients’ investment and pension accounts.
  • Prepare investment proposals and conduct periodic portfolio reviews to ensure the client's objectives are being met.
  • Conduct market reads, identify and execute deals mainly in the Capital markets.
  • Manage accounts/portfolios of specific corporate and or medium to high net worth clients.
  • Generate targeted levels of revenues by growing and managing customer portfolios.
  • Provide clients/ prospects with wealth management solutions and pension advice to meet their financial objectives.
  • Provide sales, administrative and operational support within the FHCCU branches for Investment and Pension clients.
  • Support the marketing and prospecting efforts of the company.
  • Prepare progress reports on the investment and pension products. 
  • Attend marketing events and trade shows.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

  • First Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Accounting and a minimum of 1-4 years account management and financial sales experience.

Or 

  • Professional accreditation leading to designation of Financial Planner;

Minimum of four (4) years experience in Account Management or Sales in a Financial Institution
