RealDecoy is on the lookout for a proficient Intermediate Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our diverse team. In this role, you will be pivotal in helping to develop leading web and mobile solutions, applying your strong QA skills to ensure the production of high-quality deliverables. Leveraging your expertise in automation and a disciplined approach to traditional QA methodologies, you will be a beacon of quality and efficiency in our dynamic setting.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Independently lead and manage QA efforts for complex software engineering projects, demonstrating an advanced level of self-sufficiency and the ability to drive testing initiatives from inception to successful delivery.
• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts, tackling areas such as functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Collaborate closely with development and product teams to construct agile test plans and validate requirements.
• Contribute significantly to CI/CD processes and DevOps tasks, fostering efficient production environments.
• Play an active role in design reviews, offering insights on functional requirements and product designs while pinpointing potential issues.
• Facilitate user acceptance testing to support software release processes, ensuring the delivery of top-tier products.
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex QA processes and findings into actionable insights to promote better understanding and collaboration across teams.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance, specifically in software engineering, with a proven track record in manual testing of software applications, developing detailed test cases, documenting reports, and applying core QA principles to ensure that software aligns with end-user requirements.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience using programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, Python, or C# to implement automated test suites for web applications and APIs.
• Excellent problem-solving skills coupled with a meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong communication and technical writing abilities.
• Eagerness to learn and adopt innovative practices in automation testing.

It would be nice, but not required, if you also had:

• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP, or similar) to support test automation.
• Proven competency in working with CI/CD processes and tools.
• Extensive knowledge of frameworks like Cypress, WebDriverIO, or Selenium.
• Knowledge in leveraging generative AI to accelerate unit testing and writing test plans.
