The Information Support Technician is responsible for serving as the first contact for the resolution if IT-related issues in the organization and provide virtual and onsite assistance to colleagues concerning technical issues.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Serve as a First Point of contact for IT Support
· Guide or assist colleagues with basic steps to resolve technical issues.
· Install and configure software and computer systems.
· Upgrade or repair Hardware
· Diagnose or troubleshoot and resolve software and hardware issues.
· Support the implementation of new solutions or applications.
· User Administration
· Any other relevant duties assigned
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
· Minimum one (1) year experience in a technical support role
· Working knowledge and expertise with a variety of software, hardware and applications
· Basic networking knowledge
· Active Directory Knowledge
· Basic Hardware repair experience
