The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing the technology infrastructure, managing IT operations, and driving the strategic direction of technology within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning:

  • Develop and implement the IT strategy in alignment with the company's goals.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions to improve efficiency, scalability, and innovation.
  • Oversee IT budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation to ensure cost-effective operations.

IT Infrastructure Management:

  • Manage and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and cloud services.
  • Ensure high availability and performance of all IT systems and applications.
  • Plan and implement upgrades, patches, and system optimizations.

Cybersecurity:

  • Establish and enforce IT security policies to protect company data and assets.
  • Monitor and respond to cybersecurity threats, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Conduct regular security audits and implement measures to mitigate risks.

Team Leadership:

  • Recruit, mentor, and manage a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Provide ongoing training to ensure the team remains updated on the latest technologies and best practices.
  • Set clear objectives and performance metrics for the IT team.

Project Management:

  • Lead IT projects, including software implementations, system migrations, and infrastructure upgrades.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of IT initiatives.
  • Monitor project progress, addressing challenges and ensuring alignment with company objectives.

Support and Troubleshooting:

  • Oversee IT support services, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.
  • Monitor system performance and address potential bottlenecks proactively.
  • Ensure effective communication with stakeholders regarding IT updates and concerns.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5 years of proven experience in IT management, preferably in the technology industry.
  • Strong knowledge of IT systems, networks, and cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Experience with cloud technologies, virtualization, and database management.
  • Proficiency in project management and familiarity with agile methodologies.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, CISSP) are a plus.
