We are seeking a dedicated ICT administrator to oversee our IT operations. Responsibilities include maintaining and optimising enterprise applications, ensuring reliable operation of systems and networks, and meeting user needs for uptime, performance, resources, and security.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor daily operations, including server hardware, software, and operating systems.
  • Co-ordination of technology installations, upgrades, and maintenance.
  • Selection and purchasing of new and replacement hardware and software, when necessary.
  • Testing, troubleshooting, and modifying information systems so that they operate effectively.
  • Generating performance reports for operating systems.
  • Assuring that all IT activities are performed within the parameters of applicable laws, codes, and regulations.
  • Policy creation and enforcement of policies for effective data management.
  • Formulation of techniques for quality data collection to ensure adequacy, accuracy, and legitimacy of data.
  • Provide support to users in their daily use of information systems and ensure adherence to legal and company standards.
  • Assist with reports and data extraction when needed.
  • Monitor, analyze, and evaluate the performance of information systems to discover methodologies for technological enhancement.
  • Protection of digital databases and archives from security breaches and data loss.
  • Troubleshoot data-related -problems and authorize maintenance or modifications.
  • Management of incoming data files.
  • Gather data pertaining to customer needs, and use the information to identify, predict, interpret, and evaluate system and network requirements.
  • Provide technical support to Credit Information Providers with respect to facilitating timely data uploads.
  • Provide information security awareness training for the organization.
  • Oversee information security audits, whether performed by the organization or a third-party stakeholder.
  • Assess current technology architecture for vulnerabilities, weaknesses and for possible upgrades or improvement.
  • Implement and oversee technological upgrades, improvements, and major changes to the information security environment.
  • Serve as point of contact for the information security team and the customer or organization.
  • Manage and configure physical security, disaster recovery and data backup systems.
  • Fully support, configure, maintain, and upgrade corporate networks and servers.
  • Install and integrate new server hardware and applications.
  • Anticipate and respond to required network updates.
  • Support and administer third-party applications.
  • Set up user accounts, permissions, and passwords.
  • Resolve problems reported by end users.
  • Define and implement network policies and procedures.
  • Maintain an inventory of all IT and Telecoms equipment. 
  • Maintain Telephone System.
  • Design, configure, and test computer hardware, networking software and operating system software.

 

Experience and Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree (BSc) in Computer Science and five (5) years’ experience in the IT field.
  • Technical certification such as
    • Microsoft   Certified   Systems   Engineer (MCSE),   
    • Cisco   Certified   Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent technical qualification
  • 2+ years’ work experience in a similar capacity.
  • Ability to discern user requirements and develop specifications.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office 365 and Azure Platform.
  • Experience working with Storage Array Network and Firewall technologies.
  • Knowledge of networking protocols, database management systems, and control systems. 
  • Ability to work independently or within a team.

 

Technical Competencies

  • Experience with system installation, configuration, and analysis.
  • Thorough knowledge of networks and cloud computing.
  • Knowledge of data protection operations and legislation (e.g., GDPR)
  • Ability to create technical manuals.
  • Ability to create SQL reports and solid understanding of MS SQL Server.
  • ETL experience.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as SQL
