Are you an experienced HR professional with a passion for creating a positive and inclusive work environment? A key player in the manufacturing and distribution sector is seeking a Human Resource Manager to join their team and lead their HR functions.

About the Role:

As the Human Resource Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our workforce by overseeing all HR operations, from strategic planning and recruitment to employee relations and benefits administration. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in HR management who is eager to make a significant impact on our organization’s success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with our business goals. Act as a trusted advisor to the executive team on all HR-related matters.
  • Lead the recruitment process, ensuring we attract top talent and facilitate a smooth onboarding experience. Implement strategies to retain key employees.
  • Develop and implement policies that promote a positive workplace culture. Manage complex employee relations issues and provide expert guidance to management.
  • Identify training needs, design effective training programs, and lead succession planning initiatives.
  • Oversee the administration of employee benefits, ensuring our offerings are competitive and cost-effective.
  • Manage HR systems and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.

Education, Experience, Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Advanced HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of HR management experience, with demonstrated expertise in recruitment, employee relations, and HR policy development.
  • Strong knowledge of Jamaica Labour Laws and Industrial Relations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality.
