As a Peak Season Human Capital Officer, you will work with various areas of HR to support the following:
Full cycle recruitment and selection through to offer management in consultation with department managers.
Conduct applicant interviews, other candidate assessments and prepare selection reports to determine overall fit and suitability to role requirements and company culture.
Onboarding and employee orientation including orientation schedules, check-ins and processing new hire set up paperwork.
Coordinating and attending staff events, rewards and recognition programmes and initiatives to improve employee engagement.
Ensuring learning and development programmes are executed on time, and attendance records and evaluations are completed including the administration of Learning Management System (LMS), to assign, maintain, and track employee learning initiatives.
Training and educating employees on HR processes
Administration of performance management processes and tools.
Prepare scheduled and ad hoc reports to management.
Complete assigned projects which include building cyclical processes and new initiatives.
Answering employee questions and escalating concerns to leadership as appropriate.
Produce promotional materials for social media as needed by the HR team.
Knowledge, Skills and Competencies Required:
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suite and HRIS databases
Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritise in a high volume fast-paced environment
Good relationship, interpersonal and service orientation skills
Creative in brainstorming and proposing new ideas and solutions to existing problems.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
A team player and detailed-oriented
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to deal with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality
Ability to multi-task and be a flexible team player, who can easily adapt to change
Education and Experience Required:
A Bachelors degree in Human Resource Management, or related area or equivalent experience;
3+ years’ relevant work experience in recruitment or learning & development.
