HVAC/ CHILLERS Technician

Overview:  We are an Engineering Company who develops Maintenance services on the North Coast of Jamaica to the Hospitality Industry. Our mission is to ensure that our customer’s machines get the best maintenance and repair services.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Carries out preventive maintenance checks, inspections and repairs on mechanical plants and equipment, specially dedicated to service Chillers and their auxiliary elements
• Troubleshoots and rectifies mechanical/ electrical/hvac problems on equipment in accordance with established standards and specifications.
• Installs and tests equipment
• Diagnoses recurring equipment or systems problems, recommend corrective action and effects necessary repairs.
• Assist in the commissioning of new equipment
• Carries out basic welding functions required for breakdowns.

Requirements

• At least 2 years' working experience in Chillers and HVAC assets with knowledge of Carrier and Trane chillers
• A technician Diploma, Certification in relevant engineering discipline on this area or equivalent
• Valid Driver’s License and willingness to travel as needed
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and team-oriented attitude
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
