This position involves a variety of tasks including but not limited to staff engagement, employee relations and conflict resolution, training and development, compliance, reporting and analytics and HR administration.

Responsibilities

 

Staff Engagement:

  • Contribute to developing and implementing strategies to improve employee morale and engagement.
  • Assist in executing employee engagement initiatives.

Employee Relations & Conflict Resolution:

  • Address employee concerns and grievances, conducting investigations when necessary.
  • Assist in disciplinary procedures.

 HR Administration:

  • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Manage HR databases and systems to track employee information.
  • Prepare and analyse HR reports for management.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Liaise with inter-departments and intra-companies with respect to staff movement.

 Compliance, Reporting & Analytics:

  • Stay informed about labour laws and regulations, ensuring the organisation's compliance.
  • Utilizing software for efficient record-keeping and reporting

Training and Development:

  • Identify training needs and coordinate training programs for employees.
  • Support career development initiatives and succession planning.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least three (3) progressive experience in human resources roles, preferably as an HR Officer or in a similar capacity.
  • Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Proficient in HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and MS Office usage.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Methodical approach, detail-oriented, highly organised and strong time management skills.
