HR Manager
KM2 Solutions is looking for a Human Resources Manager in Bridgetown, Barbados.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Develop and administer all human resources plans and procedures for the company.
2. Plan, organize, and control all activities of the Human Resources Department.
3. Implement and annually update the compensation program; rewrite job descriptions as necessary; conduct annual salary surveys; analyze compensation.
4. Develop, recommend, and implement personnel policies and procedures; prepare and maintain the employee handbook.
5. Conduct recruitment efforts for all exempt, nonexempt, and temporary workers; conduct new-employee orientations; conduct exit interviews.
6. Establish and maintain department records and reports; participate in administrative staff meetings.
7. Evaluate department initiatives and recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures for continual improvement.
8. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws; work hand in hand with legal resources for proactive HR administration.
9. Manage and resolve conflicts within the center.
10. Conform and direct health and safety committees.
11. Ensure HR systems are updated.
12. Comply with all established policies and standards of conduct established by KM2 Solutions.
13. Perform other responsibilities or duties as assigned by the direct supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in administration, psychology, or legal (preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role in a call center environment
- Strong knowledge of HR principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- High level of integrity and ethical standards
