The Gate Checker will have the primary day-to-day responsibility of overseeing the movement of goods and personnel through the gate.

Job Summary:

• As a key member of the Administration and Office Management Team, the Gate Checker will have the primary day-to-day responsibility of overseeing the movement of goods and personnel through the gate. This entails ensuring that all transactions are properly checked, documented, and reported on by the Gate Checker.

Job Description:

• Check, record and report on all blocks leaving and being returned to the Company.
• Record and monitor all raw material trucks entering the Company premises.
• Ensure proper documentation for all other items leaving the compound with approved Gate Passes.
• Calculate and report customer turn-around time on a daily basis and compile monthly reports.
• File security invoices daily and ensure reconciliation with Yard Checker & Accounts department.
• Coordinate with Security Officers to ensure adherence to Standing Orders.
• Liaise with external customers, contractors, and suppliers as necessary.
• Promote safety awareness and foster a safety culture within the Company.
• Perform all duties in conformance to appropriate safety, ISO and security standards.
• Ensure compliance to all ANSA Policies & Procedures.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Secondary School/ CXC Level Passes.
• At least 1-2 years’ experience in a similar environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite & Microsoft D365O
• Analytical & Critical Thinking Skills.
