Job Summary
The Food and Beverage Coordinator is responsible for the daily operations of the restaurant in a hotel setting. He/she oversees all of the issues pertaining to the customers’ dining experience including quality control, staff management, inventory control, health and safety policies and customer service.
Basic Duties
Train staff to provide high standards of service and increase their personal knowledge.
Assist the F&B Manager in the completion of ordering, scheduling and reports as necessary.
Set an example of good grooming, punctuality, friendliness and knowledge.
Enforce the F&B and lodge policies toward others Departments and Staff.
Follow health and safety regulations and policies.
Ensure the work areas are clean and well maintained.
Foster and development a culture of teamwork.
Supervise all staff members in their duties and encourage or reprimand as necessary.
Control labour costs and other related costs as per budget without compromising customer service or customer satisfaction.
Maintain all F&B public and service areas in a clean and orderly condition.
Ensure that all equipment is in safe working condition.
Deal with customer concerns and complaints fairly and immediately.
To be fully trained in emergency procedures.
Any other duties as required.
Requirements
At least three years’ experience working in a Food & Beverage environment
At least 1 year of supervisory experience
Excellent communication skills
Computer literate
