Finished Goods Warehouse Manager
Purpose of Role:
To ensure that appropriate systems and procedures are in place and is maintained for the efficient operations of all local warehouses, i.e. Central & Base. This position is also responsible for ensuring that all human resources within these areas are adequately trained and deployed for efficacy. The Warehouse Manager will also ensure that overall Warehousing Metrics and KPIs are achieved on a continual and consistent basis to profitably ensure customer satisfaction.
Main Accountabilities:
• Ensures consistent compliance with the Enterprise System for the receiving and transfer of stock in all warehouses.
• Ensures adequate training is provided to warehouse personnel.
• Facilitates a perpetual inventory system.
• Oversees the Stock Management Team and variance reporting
• Ensures that all warehouses employ and follow established procedures and policies to achieve objectives and operational efficiency.
• Facilitates the achievement of stock transfers and efficiency standards.
• Adopts a zero-loss approach to damages, expired products, and stock rotation.
• Ensures adherence to financial policies and procedures by Warehouse personnel.
o Oversee monthly expense reports to justify expenses and identify areas for cost curtailment and control.
o Manages manpower costs by operating within approved budgets.
o Ensure that stock rotation is adhered to reduce loss
o Ensures the achievement of targeted warehouse output/employee cost ratios.
o Ensure that BOs are under control and highlight to respective departments any infringement that poses a warehouse loss.
o Prepare all reporting for monthly meetings inclusive of predictive forecasting for warehouse capacity
• Train, engage and manage staff performance so they are best equipped to meet the company’s
expected results and standards of behavior
• Recommend and Adjust staff KPIs towards the attainment of commercial targets.
• Comply with all policies and procedures including but not limited to HSE and Food Safety
Standards to reduce the occurrence of accidents and incidents and to maintain food quality
• Perform any other related duties as assigned by GM JDL per your duties.

Education and Specialization
Degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience
Special Knowledge
Epicor, Microsoft Suite
Work experience (Minimum)
Three (3) years of progressive Warehouse Supervisory functions, /
Two (2) years management role
Competencies and Skills
Warehouse Management, Inventory Control, Report development
and dissemination.
