Job Description:

The University College of the Cayman Islands is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Auditor to undertake expenditure verification for two significant grant-funded projects. This contracted role requires strong project management skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work flexibly and remotely.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough expenditure verifications as outlined in the Terms of Reference.
• Evaluate financial reports and verify expenditures declared under two separate grant contracts focusing on Renewable Energy and Sustainable Development.
• Perform both desk reviews and fieldwork, necessitating site visits to the University College of the Cayman Islands.
• Prepare and submit detailed reports that align with project standards and stakeholder expectations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in financial auditing or expenditure verification.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks independently and as part of a team.
• Availability for site visits and remote collaboration according to project needs.
