To plan, design and execute engineering works and maintain all onshore production facilities/ infrastructure in adherence to industry standards, regulations and Company policies and procedures.

Job Purpose: To plan, design and execute engineering works and maintain all onshore production facilities/ infrastructure in adherence to industry standards, regulations and Company policies and procedures.

 

Role Specific Key Performance Indicators – Key Metrics:

  1. HSEQ: Compliance to HSE leading and lagging indicators, compliance to all HSE standards
  2. Production: production troubleshooting as per agreed schedule

Role Specific Work Processes and Standards:

  1. Develops and coordinates work schedules and tasks to achieve operational targets
  2. Implements engineering programs, monitors and recommends improvements to optimize programs
  3. Conducts maintenance activities including work orders to maximize production, in accordance with industry standards and best practices and in a cost-effective manner
  4. Provides technical support to field activities in diagnostics and troubleshooting in line with standard maintenance and engineering practices
  5. Monitors projects and provides progress reports
  6. Researches and provides advice on systems for improvement and new technology recommendations
  7. Reviews, approves and submits recommendations for the sourcing of personnel (resources) in a timely manner for projects and routine maintenance
  8. Participates in the process of contractor selection, evaluation and award for engineering and maintenance jobs and repetitive service contracts
  9. Participates in facilities and infrastructure audits to ensure asset integrity
  10. Ensures compliance with Asset Management Systems and Procedures.
  11. Implements HSEQ standards and ensures adherence to same
  12. Undertakes any other assignments required from time to time, to fulfill the job purpose

Qualifications, Experience

  1. BSc Engineering(as related to discipline) or
  2. Technician Diploma with at least five (5) years of relevant working experience.

 Knowledge, Competencies:

  1. Proven communication and interpersonal skills 
  2. Proficient with SAP or related software
  3. Maintaining confidentiality in all business matters
  4. Excellent customer service skills.
  5. Ability to negotiate and settle differences quickly and peacefully.
