Primary Duties - Driver/General Worker

• Drive Company vehicle along scheduled route.
• Collect/deliver items to/from customers.
• Operate handheld scanner.
• Make a record of collections/deliveries on appropriate work orders.
• Transport confidential items to/from facility.
• Load/Offload vehicle at facility.
•  Proactively identify errors and notify office/manager.
• Notify office/manager about delays or accidents.
• Refuel Company vehicle or add other fluids, such as oil or brake fluid, as needed.
• Inspect vehicle before and after route.
• Notify office/manager about any issues mechanical or otherwise.

• Must have effective communication skills
• Ability/willingness to learn scanning software and any other job-related equipment.
• Assist in warehouse to retrieve and refile inventory.
• Follow safe work practices, procedures, instructions and rules at all times.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

• Be able to adhere to confidentiality and security measures.

Requirements  

·         A driver must possess a current, valid driver's license, which meets the requirements for the class of vehicle they will operate.  If at any time, the license status changes, the driver must immediately notify the supervisor.

·         A minimum of five (5) years’ driving experience, in a standard operated vehicle.

·         Availability to work overtime and outside of regular business hours, if needed.

·         Must possess a valid police report, issued within the last six (6) months.

·         Experience in sales would be a plus.
