About The Role
To lead and direct sales and marketing strategies. Their responsibility includes increasing brand visibility, driving reservations, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience. Through team management, the development of key relationships, and the execution of effective strategies, the ultimate goal is to position the hotel as an exclusive destination and ensure continuous growth in a luxury environment. He/she is also responsible for growing existing accounts and generating new business to ensure that Room revenues and Catering revenues meet or exceed budget in order to maximize revenue and profits, and to improve the hotel’s performance in the marketplace.
The purpose is ultimately to achieve financial success and customer satisfaction for the hotel.
Responsibilities
Supervise, administer and ensure timely completion of all activities of the Sales & Marketing Department.
Develop a complete knowledge of company sales policies and SOP’s, and ensure knowledge of and adherence to those policies by the sales & marketing team.
Develop quarterly KRA’s and review the KRA process with the Sales and Catering Team to ensure that deadlines are met.
Develop and maintain market awareness to ensure the ability to predict revenue opportunities and set proactive strategies.
Coordinate and direct preparation of the monthly Rooms revenue reforecast for the current and upcoming months and assist in ensuring accuracy within 5% margin of error.
Education/Experience
At least 6 years of progressive all-inclusive hotel sales & marketing experience.
Management experience required.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
A very strong knowledge of the All-Inclusive market.
Deep knowledge of the Caribbean tourism market and industry trends.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
