Digital Marketing Officer
JOB DESCRIPTION & SPECIFICATION
POSITION: DIGITAL MARKETING OFFICER
SALARY: $9,500.00 per month
LOCATION: CHAGUANAS / FREEPORT
DEPARTMENT: COMMERCIAL
REPORTS TO: SENIOR BRAND MANAGER
SUPERVISION GIVEN TO: N/A
PURPOSE: The Digital Marketing Officer executes the company’s Digital
Strategy (Website and Social Media) and plays a key role in communicating the organization’s marketing message.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• To develop, oversee and ensure the execution of all digital marketing campaigns to ensure that they are in alignment with the overall marketing strategy of the company’s brands
• To develop and ensure execution of the monthly content marketing strategies across all platforms to increase engagement and build brands.
• To collaborate within the Commercial department to ensure that the correct products are featured for e-commerce so that sales targets can be met.
• To assist Call Center and Regional Webmaster in resolution of any local issues as it pertains to e-commerce to enhance the customer ecommerce experience.
• To Monitor all promotions on social media, website and company's app to ensure alignment to offline campaigns.
• To daily review products, pricing and images on the ecommerce site so that site is accurate and reduces risk for the company.
• To provide country-specific information/content to the ecommerce Unit: (Campaigns/promotions, Company in the News, Stores information and location, etc.).
• To provide timely and accurate information on promotions, events, etc. to Ecommerce unit for app push notifications.
• To attend and provide digital coverage for in-store live events and to submit these for posting so that up to date information is given to increase brand engagement.
• Performs any other related duties that may be assigned to you by the any member of your management team or management line.
JOB SPECIFICATION:
QUALIFICATION/EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• Degree in Marketing/Business Management or any or related field.
• Minimum one (1) year of social media experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• Understanding of web usability & accessibility best practice, as well as online methods of acquisition.
• Proven experience in planning, organization, and development of online sales platform.
• Knowledge of industry standards and requirements e.g. technical limitations, functionality, speed, download, video streaming etc.
• Active engagement in social media and ecommerce.
