To take care of the Insurance needs of the direct client by providing and delivering professional, helpful and high-quality service.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with walk-in customers
- Handle calls/queries from Direct customers regarding underwriting matters
- Follow-up Direct renewals and policies with the agreed time frame
- Quote on all motor new business in accordance with Company’s rate guide
- Process all Direct motor & new business transactions in accordance with the established protocol.
- To prepare letter of outstanding documents/Cancellation/Rescinding/Commissioner of Police.
- To update policies for renewal on a monthly basis.
- To assist with the dispatching of certificates and endorsements to Direct clients.
- Any other duties as assigned.
JOB SPECIFICATION:
1. Qualification and Experience Required:
- First Degree/Associate Degree and/or Jamaica Insurance Diploma or the equivalent
- Motor Salesman FSC Registration
- Minimum three (3) years’ experience in the General Insurance industry
2. Specific Skills or Competences Required:
- Good inter-personal skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Good organizational skills with the ability to multitask
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
