Our client, TEMPTATIONS CAFÉ & COFFEE BAR, is looking for an experienced Cook/Baker to join their team.

This is a hands-on role that requires demonstrated culinary experience, attention to detail, creativity and the ability to work quickly under pressure. Temptations Café & Coffee Bar is located in the historical town of St. George’s, Bermuda and features made to order specialty sandwiches, homemade soups, salads, freshly baked pastries, cakes, pies, desserts in addition to hot and cold espresso drinks. We seek someone with creativity and passion to help us produce innovative dishes and enhance the overall experience for our customers.

The successful incumbent must possess:

Must have a high school leaving diploma or equivalent, a culinary school certification and at least 2 year’s cooking and baking experience.

Responsibilities include preparing, cooking, and baking various dishes and desserts, operating grill, ovens, mixer, slicers, helping with stock management, cleaning fridges, rotating stock and maintaining cleanliness of facilities. Ability to work in small spaces of a hectic environment; lift heavy items, stand, walk and bend for extended periods. Flexibility to work around customer demands, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
