Contract Accounting Roles (Sep to Dec 2024)

Our BLEWSTREAM Ecosystem is seeking candidates in the accounting and finance profession to fill five local contract positions for our client who urgently needs temporary staff to support their busy period.

Job Ad: Temporary Contract Positions Available at BLEWSTREAM

Position: Finance & Accounting (Various Contract Roles)

Location: Port of Spain, Trinidad

Duration: September 2nd, 2024 - December 31st, 2024

The ideal candidates will have insurance industry experience and be available to work full time, from Monday to Friday starting September 2nd, 2024, till December 31st, 2024.

1. Accounting Report Specialist:
• Monthly updates of accounting reports for the islands with bordereaux reporting.
• Preparation of 12 journals for the bordereaux each month.
• Minimum Educational Requirements: ACCA Level 1
• Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days in, 2 days home)
2. ACH Validation Specialist:
• ACH validation (comparison of information received from Brokers vs client information).
• Minimum Educational Requirements: ACCA Level 1
• Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days in, 2 days home)
3. Premium Data Analyst:
• Update daily premiums received from RBC for our mutual clients on an access database.
• Minimum Educational Requirements: ACCA Level 1
• Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days in, 2 days home)
4. Bank Reconciliation Specialist:
• Bank Clearing reconciliation - update, investigate, and clear monthly.
• Minimum Educational Requirements: ACCA Level 1
• Work Arrangement: In-House
5. Suspense Account Reconciliation Specialist:
• Group Suspense reconciliation - investigate and clear dated items.
• Minimum Educational Requirements: ACCA Level 1
• Work Arrangement: In-House
