Commercial Advisor - Assets Contract - One Year

Job Description – Commercial Advisor

As a key contributor in the Asset Commercial team, the Commercial Advisor accountabilities span across the following key areas:

Commercial Management of Assets

  • Supporting the management of selected contracts / initiatives for the evaluation and marketing of hydrocarbons.
  • Contribute to ensuring 100% compliance with all of Client’s contractual obligations.
  • Contribute to the commercial management of the un-incorporated Joint Ventures in partnership with T&T’s national Oil Company “Heritage.
  • Contribute to delivering key commercial / business matters of upstream assets in operation and execution phases.
  • Enable effective and efficient coordination of the interaction with representatives of the Ministry of Energy and Energy Industries (MEEI), e.g. CCMs.
  • Role model goal zero (safety) performance via commercial mindset for contracts/agreements under direct responsibility.
  • Contribute to ensuring full compliance with all commercial elements of the Client Control Framework associated with the assets

What we need from you

You are expected to have a commercial / business background with significant upstream/ integrated gas (asset) commercial experience including:

  • Experience in managing upstream gas contracts, LNG SPAs, hydrocarbon allocations, GSCs, infrastructure agreements, etc
  • Preferably experience with JV management, JOAs, etc
  • Preferably experience with working and engaging with MEEI
  • Ability to work across multiple stakeholders
  • Analytical skills, financial/economic acumen is essential
  • Excellent communication, written and verbal, skills
  • Ability to work multiple priorities with tight deadlines.
  • Operating and delivering without close supervision
  • Must be a team player and ability to thrive in a virtual working environment across functions
