Job brief
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Client Engagement and Sales Support Specialist to join our team. This role involves generating leads, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and supporting daily sales operations through excellent customer service and basic accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong marketing skills, experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems, and the ability to handle client queries with professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Generation and Relationship Building:
- Engage with prospective clients to identify their needs and generate new business opportunities.
- Develop and maintain strong, lasting relationships with clients to foster loyalty and repeat business.
2. Customer Service and Marketing:
- Provide exceptional service to clients, addressing their inquiries and resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
- Effectively promote our products and services to meet client’s needs and drive sales.
3. Basic Accounting Support:
- Assist with basic accounting tasks, including processing transactions and maintaining accurate records to support daily sales operations.
4. Point of Sale (POS) Operation:
- Utilize POS systems for processing sales and managing transactions efficiently.
- Troubleshoot basic POS issues and ensure smooth operation of the system.
5. Client Interaction:
- Handle client queries and concerns with a high level of professionalism and accuracy.
- Provide clear and effective communication to address client needs and enhance their experience.
6. Administrative support:
- Draft and manage professional emails and other forms of communication.
- Ensure all correspondence is clear, accurate, and aligned with company standards.
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities, client interactions and progress.
Skills
ü Strong marketing skills with a focus on promoting products and services.
ü Basic accounting knowledge and familiarity with daily financial tasks.
ü Experience with POS systems is a plus.
ü Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
ü Professional demeanor with the ability to handle client interactions effectively.
ü Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Education and Experience:
ü High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in marketing, sales or accounting is a plus.
ü Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
ü Proven experience in customer service, sales, or a related field.
