Currently Recruiting for:

CERTIFIED WELDING INSPECTOR

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Final inspection of products manufactured or repaired at IAL ENGINEERING SERVICES LTD.’s Machining and Manufacturing Facility
• Receiving/Incoming inspection of Customer Supplied Product (CSP) and Raw material in accordance with document procedures
• Field inspection of IAL owned or CSP on location outside of our Guapo facility in accordance with relevant product specifications or Customer requirements/specifications
• Ensure that product identification and traceability is maintained throughout all processes
• Identify and segregate nonconforming product as well as generate Internal Non-Conformances

• Verify Final Markings applied are legible and in accordance with documented procedures

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• AWS - CWI Certification or similar Quality Inspection certification
• Minimum of three (3) years experience as a Quality Control Inspector
• Minimum of one (1) year related work experience in Fabric Maintenance, Manufacturing and/or Quality Assurance / Quality Control in the Oil & Gas, Engineering or related sector
• Any combination of related work experience at a similar technical level.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Analytical - understanding Engineering Drawings, Licensor specifications and OEM procedures/documents. Being meticulous and maintaining an exemplary level of Attention to Detail
• Manual dexterity and accuracy - gaining and maintaining the physical skills required to operate the vast inventory of standard and premium gauges required for Inspection and evaluation of products
• Math, Computer & Reporting- performing basic calculations as part of the Inspection Function. Basic Computer Literacy. Generation of Records and Reports with technical detail and Integrity
• Interpersonal - working along with Team members to achieve the Objectives of the Unit. Practice problem solving and conflict resolution methods to solve problems and resolve issues
• Physical stamina - performing the QC Inspection function including monotonous procedures/processes for extended periods and at odd hours
• Punctual and Organized - be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision. Effective time management skills with demonstrated ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
