JOH Investments Limited, a financial and investment company located in Kingston, Jamaica is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented professional to join their team as a Business Operations Support Officer.

Job Summary:

The Business Operations Support Officer will play a pivotal role in overseeing daily operations, driving process improvements, and ensuring compliance with company policies. This role requires a strong, organized individual who can collaborate across departments and contribute to the company’s ongoing success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and monitor daily operational activities to align with company objectives.
  • Assist in developing and implementing procedures to enhance productivity.
  • Identify and recommend solutions for process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Coordinate resources such as personnel, equipment, and supplies to meet departmental needs.
  • Monitor inventory, oversee procurement, and liaise with suppliers for timely deliveries.
  • Collect and analyze operational performance data; prepare insightful reports for senior management.
  • Collaborate with customer service teams to address client concerns and improve service delivery.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external counterparties to streamline workflows.
  • Identify operational risks and develop mitigation and continuity plans.

Qualifications, Experience, Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar operational role.
  • Familiarity with operational procedures, best practices, and industry standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and operational software.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
