We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Analyst/Demand Planner to join our dynamic team, focused on a new product line and development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Utilize advanced statistical methods to analyze and forecast demand patterns, aligning distribution strategies with operational objectives.
  • Conduct thorough demand analysis using historical sales data, market trends, and industry insights to generate accurate forecasts.
  • Develop raw material purchase projections (3-6 months) that align with production schedules and minimize excess inventory.
  • Lead the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) project ensuring accurate procurement and timely availability of raw materials.
  • Continuously monitor MRP outputs and adjust planning parameters to reflect changes in demand, lead times, and inventory levels.
  • Manage and optimize inventory levels to prevent stockouts or overstock situations, ensuring continuous production and minimizing holding costs.
  • Implement best practices in inventory management, including just-in-time (JIT) and safety stock strategies, tailored to business needs.
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of supply chain operations, logistics efficiency, and demand planning accuracy.
  • Regularly report on KPIs to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for process improvements.
  • Oversee the procurement process, including the reception of orders from various departments, supplier negotiation, and order regularization.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials and services, managing the end-to-end purchasing process.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement in inventory management, procurement, and distribution.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to implement process enhancements that drive efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall business performance.
  • Prepare detailed reports, including demand forecasts, inventory status, procurement activities, and distribution efficiency.
  • Use data analysis tools to consolidate information from various sources, providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with sales, production, logistics, and finance teams to ensure alignment of demand planning with overall business strategies.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for demand-related inquiries and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to resolve issues promptly.
  • Ensure all procurement and inventory management processes are documented and comply with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, invoices, and inventory transactions, facilitating audits and financial reporting.

Requirements      

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain management, or a related analytical role, with a strong focus on inventory control and procurement.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
  • Proficiency ERP, particularly in MRP and inventory management modules
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools; experience with data visualization software (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is desirable.
  • Strong understanding of mathematical modeling and algorithm design for supply chain optimization.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain management, or a related analytical role, with a strong focus on inventory control and procurement.
