The incumbent is required to lead and manage a team of sales professionals to enable the attainment of sales targets and annual KPIs. Also conduct market research and data analysis with the aim of increasing market share and sales target.

Job Summary: Do you want to be a part of a dynamic Group of Companies in the Automotive Industry, and work in a fast paced and fun environment? We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Automotive Sales Manager to oversee, motivate, and engage our sales team. The incumbent is expected to analyze sales figures and develop and implement effective sales techniques to boost sales and attain targets. 

The key duties of this position will include:

  • Leading and motivating a team of sales professionals to meet and exceed sales objectives and profitability targets.
  • Developing, tracking and monitoring sales activity metrics, ensuring Sales Representatives generate sufficient new leads while continuing to nurture existing client relationships.
  • Providing ongoing coaching, training, and mentorship to sales team members, ensuring they are well-versed in the brand's features and benefits.
  • Developing and implementing effective sales strategies and campaigns to meet sales and profitability goals, and to drive customer acquisition and loyalty.
  • Working closely with marketing in the design of lead generation activities and brand building initiatives that support the achievement of business objectives
  • Supporting the development of operating policies and procedures and providing feedback and recommendations for improvement to franchise standards.
  • Validating and approving commissions for the sales team and making recommendations on incentive programs that will motivate the team to deliver to a high standard.
  • Monitoring market trends and the competitive landscape to identify opportunities and threats and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience to drive NPS (Network Promoter Score).
  • Cultivating strong professional relationships with key clientele.
  • Promoting and maintaining a positive organizational image and good community relations

 

The ideal candidate should have the following experience, qualifications, and competencies:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or equivalent
  • A minimum of five years’ experience in a similar capacity
  • Excellent knowledge of the automotive industry, motor vehicles and their built-in technology
  • A proven record of success in sales and leading sales teams
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Good Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
  • Driver’s License with a clean driving record
