Hinduja Global Solutions is hiring a bi-lingual technical support representative for one of it's electronic/home appliance clients. The suitable candidate MUST be customer-oriented and have an affinity for troubleshooting going above and beyond for our customers.

Hinduja Global Solutions is looking for a dynamic and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Bilingual Tech Support Representative. This role is crucial in providing technical assistance and troubleshooting to our diverse customer base, ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services. If you are fluent in English and Spanish/French, possess strong technical skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide technical support and assistance to customers via phone, email, chat, and remote desktop tools in both English and Spanish/French.
  2. Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues reported by customers with patience and empathy.
  3. Guide customers through step-by-step solutions, utilizing available resources and knowledge base articles.
  4. Escalate complex technical issues to higher-level support teams or appropriate departments for resolution.
  5. Document customer interactions, including details of issues reported and steps taken to resolve them, in our ticketing system.
  6. Proactively identify and address recurring technical issues by collaborating with the product development and quality assurance teams.
  7. Stay up-to-date on product features, updates, and technical specifications to provide accurate and timely support.
  8. Assist with the testing and implementation of new software releases and updates.
  9. Provide feedback to improve customer support processes, tools, and documentation.
  10. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including security and privacy regulations, to ensure customer data protection.

Qualifications:

  1. Fluency in English and proficiency in French/Spanish (spoken and written).
  2. High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or degree in computer science or related field preferred.
  3. Previous experience in technical support or customer service roles, preferably in a technology-related industry.
  4. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think analytically and logically.
  5. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely.
  6. Familiarity with computer hardware, software applications, operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), and networking concepts.
  7. Experience using remote desktop tools and ticketing systems for support interactions.
  8. Ability to work efficiently under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  9. Strong customer service orientation with a focus on providing positive experiences for customers.
  10. Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
