Bar Supervisor

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Maintain complete knowledge of all menu items, liquor brands, beers and non-alcoholic selections available in the Pool/Beach Bar and respective prices.
• Maintain knowledge of the characteristics and description of every wine/champagne by the glass and major wines on the wine list.
• Maintain complete knowledge of and strictly abide by state liquor regulations, particularly those prohibiting service to minors, intoxicated persons and drunk driving.
• Compiling weekly reports
• Monitoring team members’ performance, coaching, training and assisting where necessary
• Overseeing all follow up work to ensure non-recurrence errors, working closely with department’s managers
• Assist manager in the training and assessment of new recruits
• Preparing and coordinating periodical training of team members
• Setting objectives and development plans for all team members
• Managing day to day operation from the front based on hotel procedures and standards
• Supervising all areas for cleanliness, proper operation and systems that will improve guest’s satisfaction and service
• Analysing customers’ feedback and acting where and when necessary
• Maintaining and developing methods of administration for all outlets
• Coordinating the maintenance and development for high quality preparation of food and drink
• Ensuring an efficient scheduling is in place to ensure high standard of service according to business levels focusing in ensuring all areas are staffed accordingly
• Supervising all food safety, health and safety policies and procedures to ensure is followed up
• Assisting the manager in overtaking any other responsibilities when necessary
• Have the ability to transmit hospitality’s culture to the team, making the place to work fun, professional and safe.
