Coordinate, negotiate and supervise the tasks in the food and beverage service

BANQUET MANAGER

 We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Banquet Manager to join our team.

The Banquet Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our banquet operations, including planning, organizing, and executing events and functions. This position requires a passion for hospitality, strong leadership skills, and a keen attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities: - Plan, organize, and execute all banquet events and functions, including weddings, conferences, and other special events. Manage and supervise banquet staff, including servers, bartenders, and support staff.

Ensure that all events are executed according to the highest standards of quality and service

Work closely with event planners and clients to understand their needs and preferences and ensure that all details are met

Create and maintain banquet event orders, timelines, and budgets

Conduct pre-event meetings with staff to ensure everyone is prepared and informed

Oversee set-up, service, and clean-up of events, ensuring that all areas are kept clean and presentable 

Monitor and control banquet expenses, including labor and supplies, to meet or exceed budgeted targets 

Maintain inventory of banquet supplies and equipment, and coordinate with purchasing department for any necessary orders

Train and develop banquet staff to maintain high levels of service and professionalism 

Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies

 

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years experience in a banquet management or related role. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Proven experience in managing budgets and controlling costs.

Knowledge of food and beverage operations and service standards.Proficient in Microsoft Office and event management software.

Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
