ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT

Reporting to the Accounting Manager the Accounting Supervisor will be responsible for the supervisory management of all aspects Accounts payable inventory and fixed assets, including the General ledger as well as providing technical support to the Accounting Manager in budget maintenance and preparation of final accounts.     

Qualifications and experience

• ACCA level 2 or B.Sc. (Accounting)
• A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a similar capacity preferably in a multi-branch operation
• Good interpersonal skills and work well with teams
• Working knowledge of ACCPAC or Sage 300 and MS Office software
• Sound knowledge of inventory management, costing, budget forecasting and fixed asset management
• Good analytical skills and attention to detail
• Proven record of working to meet established goals and deadlines

Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as good interpersonal skills
