Assistant Account Executive Job Description

Responsibilities

  1. Assist Account Executives in the day-to-day management of client accounts, ensuring timely and accurate execution of deliverables.
  2. Collaborate with internal teams, including creative, media, and production, to develop effective strategies and campaigns that meet client objectives.
  3. Conduct industry research and analyze market trends to provide insights and recommendations for client campaigns.
  4. Prepare client reports, presentations, and meeting materials, ensuring accuracy and professionalism.
  5. Monitor project timelines and budgets, proactively identifying and resolving any issues or delays to ensure client satisfaction.
  6. Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring consistent communication and understanding of client needs and expectations.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry news, emerging technologies, and best practices to bring fresh ideas and innovative solutions to client accounts.
  8. Assist in new business development efforts, including proposal writing, research, and presentation preparation.
  9. Participate in client meetings and presentations, taking notes and following up on action items as needed.
  10. Collaborate with Assistant Account Executives across other accounts to share best practices and streamline processes.

Required Skills

  1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
  2. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  3. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  5. Knowledge of advertising, marketing, and public relations principles and practices.
  6. Understanding of social media platforms and their role in marketing campaigns.
  7. Ability to problem-solve and think critically to address client challenges and propose effective solutions.
  8. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients and internal teams.
  9. Flexibility and adaptability to handle changing client priorities and requirements.
  10. Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Required Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Psychology or a related field.
  2. Minimum 2 years experience in account management, advertising, marketing, or public relations is preferred but not required.
  3. A strong work ethic and a passion for delivering exceptional client service.
  4. Willingness to learn and develop new skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  5. Ability to work independently and take initiative, while also being an effective team player.
