Safeguarding company property, facilities and other assets as well as personnel and members' safety and security
Reporting to the Regional Loss Prevention Manager and Club Manager, this position is responsible for:-
- Ensuring that the building and its perimeter are free from any form of security hazard, well secured and protected from any form of sabotage and destruction
- Familiarization with all the security systems and installations i.e. CCTV, alarm systems, etc, and ensuring equipment is functional and operational
- Preventing intruders and saboteurs from penetrating and destroying company property and facilities
- Protecting and securing the warehouse building, internal surroundings and perimeter
- Preparing clear, accurate ane complete summary reports
- Coordinating with local law enforcement agenceis in security matters
- Ensuring CCTV System, Hand-held radios, door counter etc are in good working condtion
- Conducting investigations of persons involved in incidents
- Overseeing fire exits ensuring they are lcoked during opening and free from obstructions
- Performing audit regarding department daily activity on shrinkages control
- Performing floor walk functions
- Physical inspection of fire extinguishers and physical inventory of company property
Required Education/Experience
- Minimum 2 year's University-Based studies in Business Administration or its equivalent. Degree preferred.
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role preferably in the retail environment
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Knowledge of computer and security systems and installations
