We are seeking an experienced Agile Delivery Specialist to join our team. As a lead-from-the-front technology and Agile delivery expert, you will be deeply dedicated to your projects and teams, driving the successful implementation of Agile methodologies and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evangelize Agile methodology, including ceremonies (stand-ups, demos, retrospectives), road mapping, backlog management (definition, grooming, prioritization), sizing and task estimation, and velocity tracking, while effectively explaining these concepts to teams
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, backlog grooming, estimation, sprint and release planning, demos, scrum-of-scrums, and retrospectives when needed
  • Break down work into tasks, plan and execute those tasks with minimal direction, and proactively manage risks and raise blocking concerns
  • Serve as the project expert in gathering and documenting business requirements, writing user stories that effectively communicate the Product Owner's needs, and ensuring they are easily consumed by software development teams
  • Nurture communities of practice and help teams continuously reflect and improve, becoming more effective in their roles and delivering business outcomes
  • Recommend appropriate metrics and measurements for both the team and broader transformations
  • Resolve conflicts, build alignment, and influence senior leaders to create a pathway to adoption
  • Provide one-on-one coaching sessions with all team members
  • Take on increasing team leadership responsibilities by assisting project leads in handling issues, mitigating risks, facilitating and attending meetings, and providing project status reporting to management.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Project Management or a related technical field
  • At least Three years' development experience using Agile development methodologies in all phases of product, software, and testing lifecycle 
  • One or more agile certifications would be an asset (e.g., CSM, CSPO, CSP, PSM, PSPO, ICP-ACC) are a plus

 

Skills and Competencies

  • Demonstrated skills in defining and documenting business and functional requirements, serving as a liaison between business and technical teams to drive effective, timely solutions that fulfill strategic and operational needs
  • Strong investigative, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills, combined with the ability to work independently or in close coordination with a team to embrace challenging situations and solve complex problems
  • Passion for building software solutions with state-of-the-art technology and first-hand experience in software delivery, specifically Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, XP, and Lean
  • Comfortable with Agile product development tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, Miro, Figma, etc.)
  • Experience mentoring and training teams in various Agile methods (Scrum, Kanban, Lean) and the ability to apply the appropriate one to the situation
  • Deep understanding of MVP and the ability to guide product development from inception to deployment
  • Excellent communication skills
