About the Role:                                       

As the Warehouse & Inventory Supervisor at Tortuga, you will play a pivotal role in efficiently managing and maintaining inventory data within SAP Business 1. Your responsibilities will include overseeing warehouse operations, inventory management, stock reconciliation, and order compilation for the local market. You will ensure accurate recording of daily inventory transactions and receipt of incoming goods, contributing to our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure correct and safe storage of incoming stock.
• Prepare items for loading as per incoming Purchase Orders (POs).
• Assemble stock requisitions for delivery to the factory floor.
• Safely move heavy goods and palletized items using forklifts, walkie stackers, or hand trucks.
• Maintain cleanliness, security, and upkeep of the work area.
• Monitor incoming and outgoing stock for faults or defects and report as necessary.
• Monitor inventory quantities and advise on reordering.
• Regularly check inventory availability and advise on obsolete stock.
• Report food safety breaches.
• Advise on finished goods stock levels for outbound orders.
• Maintain accurate record-keeping of inventory transactions.
• Conduct cycle count audits of warehouse stock and provide information for restocking.
• Coordinate with purchasing on order timeliness.
• Reconcile orders against purchase documents.

Key Deliverables:

• Accurate inventory records within SAP Business 1.
• Timely reporting of stock levels and discrepancies.
• Compliance with food safety and warehouse regulations.
• Efficient order compilation and delivery to the factory floor.
• Clean and secure warehouse environment. 

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree/Associate Degree/Diploma in Warehousing & Inventory Control.
• 5+ years' experience in warehousing, inventory, and shipping, preferably in food manufacturing.
• Awareness of food safety, quality, and Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite/SAP Business 1.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask effectively and work autonomously.
• Forklift handler’s certificate (a plus).
• Knowledge of Authorized Economic Operations (AEO) policies.
