Service & Installation Technicians

The LPG Service Technician supports the needs of the business through the safe installation of 45kg cylinders, LPG bulk installations and corrects leaks to bulk installations and servicing of LPG equipment island wide.

IGL Limited, marketer and distributor of industrial gases, medical gases, LPG and related products is seeking to identify candidates to fill the following vacancy: 

SERVICE & INSTALLATION TECHNICIANS

Installs 45kg cylinders, ensuring that all installations are done in compliance with NFPA58 and the Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental (QHSE) standards and policies of the Company.
 
Corrects leaks to bulk and cylinder installations ensuring that all such installations are maintained within the HSE standards of IGL and in compliance with NFPA58.
 
Identifies and corrects unsafe bulk and cylinder installations and ensures that they are in compliance with NFPA58 and HSE standards.
 
Undertakes bulk installations i.e. installing pipes, small tanks, fittings etc. ensuring that  they are in compliant with  NFPA58 and QHSE standards.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

Diploma in a vocational discipline (maintenance, welding, plumbing etc.)
