Security Manager (Guyana)

Manage the Security Operations on the compound and report to the General Manager. Improve the overall performance of the Security Department by developing and implementing strategic plans.

JOB SUMMARY

Telecom Security Guyana is looking for a Security Manager to handle its expansion and developmental plans in the local security industry. Candidate must have in-depth knowledge and experience in the field of security and proven experience in handling varied security department.

Qualification and/or Experience

• An Associate Degree in Security Management or Security Administration
• Must have experience in Security Administration, Safety & Security.
• Comprehensive Knowledge and 5-6 Years Experience in the Security Industry would be an asset.
• Must be computer literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Must possess good organizational and communication skills.
• Must have Knowledge of Labor/ Industrial Relations Law

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement measures to mitigate risks and other vulnerabilities.
• Prepare timely reports on all aspects of the departments’ daily operations.
• Design and initiate SOPs that guides the operations of specific daily duties.
• Oversee the appraisal of all employees within the department.
• Ensure the physical security of all the Company’s employees and assets.
• Ensure the physical security of the Clients’ and their assets where applicable.
• Identify and develop training programmes to satisfy the needs of the departments’ operations.
• Orient Security Officers in report writing, monitoring, patrols and customer services / public relations.
• Any other related duties.
