SENIOR SUPPORT SERVICES OFFICER
CI$52,092.00 to CI$60,768.00 per annum

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Provide customer service support to all existing and prospective Credit Union Members
including handling complaints at source, providing general assistance to a variety of
requests, and responding to inquiries related to the Credit Union's, Products and Services;
• Promote the advantages of becoming a member of the Credit Union and educate our
members on the benefits of our Products and Services, including our Shares account & the
dividend payout;
• Primarily responsible for the onboarding of new members including opening of new
accounts;
• Complete daily and monthly reporting as assigned by the Manager of New Accounts &
Support Services;
• Assist with any ad-hoc projects or information gathering activities that are requested by the Manager, New Accounts & Support Services, and other members of Management

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
• A High School Diploma with at least 3 O' Level passes in Math, English & Accounts.
• At least 3 years' work experience in a related field.
• A professional AML-related certification (e.g., AMLCA or ICA) is highly desirable.
• Banking experience would be advantageous.
• Working knowledge of the on-boarding process practiced by financial institutions,
including a good understanding of standard KYC and other due diligence requirements.

• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy;
• A proactive approach to trouble shooting issues identified, including applying reasonable judgement and problem-solving skills in arriving at a resolution;
• Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills, including the ability to recognize the unique values, perspective, and ideas of individuals; and empathizes with colleagues and members to understand their needs and concerns;
• The ability to interpret and apply the Credit Union policies and procedures to daily activities when serving our members;
• A strong sense of integrity and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality; and
impartiality in executing all tasks;
• The ability to apply sound decision-making skills and judgement to arrive at appropriate
conclusions and take sensible action which reflects thorough analysis and understanding of established policies and procedures;
• Strong computer literacy including high degree of competency in using the Microsoft Office suite;
• Experience with leading presentations to large groups, either in person or virtually;
• A high level of self-motivation with initiative and drive to accomplish tasks with minimal
oversight, and to handle multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment;
• The proven ability to deliver goals on time, independently as well as a part of a team;
• The ability to collaborate across various units to foster teamwork and deliver superior
Member experience.
