Job Brief:
Responsible for the preparation of assigned client reports and service delivery portfolios. Role success ensures that all client reports and other assignments are delivered on time while ensuring efficiency and client satisfaction.
Duties & Responsibilities:
With the use of provided technology, scan and monitor local and international newspapers, television, radio, Internet, and social media for news items on behalf of company clients
Prepare scheduled daily and/or weekly newsletters/ reports – scan newspapers for related clients’ keywords and edit the feeds for dispatch
Blog and Scriptwriting – this is required when needed
Use standard tools to determine trends and other analyses of "mentions" of clients and their products in the media
Monitor regional e-papers to ensure that all “mentions” are captured
Provide alerts to supervisors regarding potential crisis that may be occurring on the media landscape for clients
Actively monitor and report trends in the media for various industries
Liaise with international system partners/providers
Maintain and update issues log
Requirements:
University degree in Communication, Marketing, or Business related discipline
Strong communication, problem-solving, analytical and technology-savvy skills
A self-motivated attitude and high levels of detail orientation
Team player and leadership characteristics
Enthusiasm for marketing and social media
Ability to work on a flexible schedule and meet deadlines
Basic IT skills would be an asset
Proficiency in Excel is required
Proficiency in PowerBi or similar tool would be an asset
Work Environment:
Hybrid- as per team in office schedule

A quiet workspace
A distraction-free background during meetings
It is mandatory that your camera is on during meetings
Required high-speed internet bandwidth (satellite and wireless hotspots not approved)
Quick learner of new programs and technologies
Self-motivated - Demonstrated ability to effectively work remotely
Requires self-direction - Ability to think creatively and strategically to identify and resolve
problems independently
Strong attention to detail and strong follow-through
Ensuring all DRT work, materials and meetings are confidential. Only DRT team members are
privy to information shared on calls, equipment, and any information about the company and
its clients
Unless otherwise approved, DRT Communications work should not be conducted on any
equipment other than what is provided
