Male or Female Freight Representative ( Ages 23-29) Job Brief

We are looking for an accountable Male or Female Customer Service Representative ( Ages 23-29) for our busy Inter-Island Shipping (Maritime) Company to process all service transactions accurately and efficiently in accordance with established policies and procedures. The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in achieving our customer satisfaction and revenue growth objectives. Duties and responsibilities of the Ticket Agent will include greeting customers when entering or leaving our establishment, maintaining a clean and tidy checkout area and keeping reports of cash and credit transactions.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide all guests a positive first impression of the company by offering superior customer service.
2. Perform ticket sales for guests for current and upcoming trips using a computer-based sales system.
3. Problem-solving by effectively communicating with guests to locate and deliver guest tickets.
4. Answering the telephone, for either ticket sales, or for general inquiries.
5. Provide superior customer service to all internal clients.
6. Help in resolving customer issues.
7. Communicate effectively with fellow co-workers
8. Accept cash and give change with accuracy and efficiency.
