Education: Entry-level IT Assistant are expected to have a bachelor’s degree in information
technology, computer science or a related field. Or an associate’s degree and who have relevant
work experience.

Certifications: The following IT certifications is an asset CCNA, CompTIA A+ Network+ (etc).

Job Profile

• Languages: English.
• Minimum experience: 2 to 3 years.
• Level of studies: Bachelors/Diploma. If Diploma 3 years experience
• Academic specialty: Preferably hotels and Food & Beverage
• Basic Competences: Leadership, Teamwork, Pro-activity, Helpful, Responsibility, Availability of schedules, Customer service, Work by objectives, Dynamism, Enthusiasm, Attention to detail.

Specifics:
• Performs hardware and software maintenance.
• Installing and maintaining hardware and software applications
• Setting up peripherals, maintaining and repairs.
• Monitor standards and procedures for computer equipment.
• Manage backups and contingency plans.
• Coordinates providers.
• Provides technical support, advice and trains end users.
• Performs continuous tests of the communications network,
• Safeguard all computer equipment in the hotel.
• Request technical support when it is required.
• Maintain acurate inventory of all computers, printers and telephone equipments.
• Supervise functions of the telephone technician in charge.
• Reports directly to the IT Manager.
