Job description:

 

Primary objective of the job:

The Business Account Manager will be responsible for managing a set group of customers from an assigned segment of our customer base. In addition to account management, the core objective to this role is to maintain all revenues within the base, manage all issues and
escalations from customers, and identify opportunities to grow revenue within the account base. This is a target based role so achievement of target is essential.

 

Main Duties and responsibilities:

  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits and meet their monthly sales quota from their assigned customers.
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
  • Forecast and track monthly sales performance, account based activity and sales pipeline.
  • To develop and maintain a deep understanding of the full Digicel portfolio of both GSM and ICT solutions.
  • To maintain a high level of awareness of both local and market trends that could support new business development

 

Academic qualifications and experience required for job:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience in sales or account management, preferably within the ICT sector.
  • Strong understanding of ICT solutions and their application within varying business settings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with business persons at all levels.
  • Knowledge of business procurement processes and regulations.
  • Strategic thinker with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth.
  • Ability to work independently and navigate complex sales cycles.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
