OVERVIEW:

​KPMG Jamaica has a delivery center named “Jamaica Extended Support Services (JESS)” operating from Kingston, which is contracted to provide back-office support to its member firm KPMG United States (“the Client”). The Clients’ Human Resource Shared Centre team is expanding operations at JESS to support the HR Operations process area. Team members within the delivery center work with the Client’s stakeholders under a team extension model to support the Client’s back-office operations.

JOB SUMMARY:

The person in this role will have experience in process frameworks, documentation, analysis, improvement, controls, and governance. The role will require a collaborative working approach across Talent & Culture (T&C) Service Delivery and peripheral impacted business groups, such as Risk Management and Digital Management Office.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Service Delivery

• Collaborate with Centre(s) of Excellence (CoE) to verify and document HR process inventory.
• Utilize HR Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to develop current state Business Process Methodology (BPM) process maps using IBM Blueworks Live and Blueworks process governance.
• Facilitate working sessions with T&C Service Delivery CoE(s) to identify and record, detail and catalogue processes, creating current state process maps in IBM Blueworks Live.
• Perform fit gap analysis on current state process maps, aligning them with the KPMG process framework Value Chain Framework in IBM Blueworks Live.
• Provide training on IBM Blueworks Live and Blueworks process governance to T&C CoE Small & Medium Enterprises.
• Maintain the Process Enablement Process Documentation tracker and ensure accurate tracking of processes.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources (HR) from an accredited college/university or any other related field.
• Professional HR, Business Process Modeling certification from accredited organization and/or Lean Six Sigma certification is desired.
• Must have Operations experience, HR Operations experience preferred
• A minimum of five years of progressive experience working on process improvement and quality initiatives
• Business Process Management (BPM) experience, including understanding terminology and leading practices.
• Process mapping experience, specifically using a tool such as Visio, ARIS, or Blueworks Live
• Solid verbal/written communication, problem-solving, analytical, and independent judgement​skills to support an environment driven by customer service and teamwork.
• Ability to work independently and work well within a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to adhere to deadlines.
• Detail-oriented and thorough, with effective time management skills
• Lean/Six Sigma, ChatGPT and APQC framework experience a plus
